An adept Bay Area tenor saxophonist and composer, Raffi Garabedian is known for his atmospheric and thoughtful approach to post-bop jazz. He has garnered attention for his deeply reflective and lyrical albums, including 2021's Melodies in Silence and 2024's The Crazy Dog, the latter of which explored his family's history escaping the Armenian Genocide.
