With their eclectic, jazz-influenced sound, Charleston, South Carolina's Ranky Tanky take inspiration from the African-American Gullah culture of America's Southeast. The group emerged to acclaim, topping the jazz charts with their 2017 debut LP, Ranky Tanky, and taking home consecutive Grammy Awards for Best Regional Roots Music Album for both 2019's Good Time and 2022's Live at the 2022 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
