Ray Moore

b. 1942, Liverpool, England, d. January 1989. A broadcaster and unlikely 80s records hitmaker, Moore left school in the summer of 1960 and started a good job in the then-thriving docks. However, a desire to do something different led him to Oldham Repertory Theatre where he became assistant stage manager. He managed to do some acting and even appeared in a B-movie called A Touch Of Brass made for the Billy Graham organization.
