Raymond Naptali

b. Raymond McCook, 1961, Jamaica, West Indies. Naptali spent his formative years in Jamaica, where he witnessed the phenomenal rise of Dennis Alcapone, Big Youth, I. Roy and U-Roy. By the early 70s, he and his family had settled in the UK, where, inspired by the sound systems, he gradually built up his reputation as a DJ with Fatman Hi Fi.
