Rayon and Амм

Rayon is an experimental solo project of Markus Acher, co-founder of indie electronic band the Notwist and the Alien Transistor label. He uses the alias for his primarily instrumental soundtrack work, and the few Rayon recordings blend acoustic guitars and pianos with drum machines and samples, creating playful yet slightly eerie soundscapes. The project's first release was the soundtrack to Katja Schroeder's short film Run, released as the double 7" Yom by Hausmusik/Kollaps in 1995.
