One-woman Swedish electro-industrial project Rein serves up a tuneful take on EBM, combining poppy melodies with raw synth sounds, pounding beats, and a healthy dose of punk attitude.
Joanna Reinikainen was born in Stockholm into a musical family; her father is '80s singer/songwriter Paul Rein, and she is half-sister to Swedish House Mafia's Sebastian Ingrosso. She started making music at the age of 13, inspired by anything and everything she saw on MTV. Reinikainen set out her stall in 2016 with her eponymous debut EP as Rein.
