Even by the standards and constraints of the genre, Belarus' Relics of Humanity are a punishing act. Buried deep in the cacophonous rhythm, frayed-edge guitar riffs and near-indecipherable vocals are a lyrical bent railing against the perceived ungodliness of modern religions that sound like the group is trying to incite the apocalypse from their amps. The group moves deliberately, with more than a decade separating 2014's Ominously Reigning Upon the Intangible and 2025's Absolute Dismal Domain.
