Biography

Groove Collective percussionist Gordon "Nappy G" Clay and Daniel "Chief Abbot D" Wyatt were playing Haitian rhythms around New York City's Soho district, picking up bassist Jonathan Maron and drummer Genji Siriasi (Groove Collective members) as well as singer/songwriter Nicole Willis. Forming the funky acid-jazz combo Repercussions, the group supported Arrested Development, George Clinton and Brand New Heavies at New York's Groove Academy.
