Revelators Sound System

Revelators Sound System is the instrumental studio project of M.C. Taylor (Hiss Golden Messenger) and bassist/producer Cameron Ralston (Spacebomb House Band). Their sound is a woozy meld of avant-funk and spiritual jazz grooves, spacy minimalism, and dubwise ambience. Longtime friends, the pair initiated the project as a musical meditation on community near end of the pandemic quarantine in late 2020.
