Richard Burdick is an American horn player and prolific composer of chamber music and concertos for horn and other instruments. Inspired by the I Ching, many of his compositions utilize a sophisticated 64-step microtonal system. He was born in El Cerrito, California in 1961 and began playing the horn in the mid-'70s at El Cerrito High School.
