Ringdown

An electronic duo consisting of award-winning composer Caroline Shaw and singer/multi-instrumentalist Danni Lee, Ringdown makes artful pop with a cinematic tone. The two musicians got together in late 2023 to release a series of singles for the Nonesuch label. These were later featured on Ringdown's 2025 debut album, Lady on the Bike. Based in Portland, Oregon, the duo combines Shaw's distinctive percussive composition style with the pop songwriting of Lee to create a unique hybrid that touches on classical, avant-garde, and indie electronica.
