Rob Mazurek Quintet

Originally rooted in bluesy hard bop, prolific cornetist and visual artist Rob Mazurek is a consistently exciting improviser and conceptualist. A founding member of the Chicago Underground groups, he also formed Exploding Star Orchestra, the 21st century fusion outfit Isotope 217, and the vanguard São Paulo Underground.
