Robert Allen Parker is a Memphis-based guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer. Since the early 2000s, he has been part of the city's thriving local music scene and a pillar of its blues community. His playing style is rooted in the Delta blues as well as R&B and the blues-rock movement of the late 1960s and early '70s. His fretwork firmly acknowledges the influences of Albert King, Cream-era Eric Clapton, Duane Allman, Jimi Hendrix, Humble Pie, and Mountain.
