b. USA. Fleischman originally came to prominence as the singer with Journey in San Francisco, California, USA. He was recruited by that group in June 1977 following the release of their debut album. However, after touring with Journey in support of Emerson, Lake And Palmer, he was ejected from the band in favour of Steve Perry before he had the chance to record.
