Biography
Fronted by the vocals of Tanya Abernathy, the Robustos debuted their hybrid of traditional ska, reggae, soul, rock, and blues through the 1997 Moon Ska Record release of Introducing the Robustos. After a brief U.S. tour in support of their debut, the Atlanta natives moved on to Beatville Records, resulting in the 1999 follow-up album New Authentic. ~ Mike DaRonco
