Although formed in London in 1983, the electronic trio R.O.C. went largely unknown for over a decade as writer/programmer Patrick Nicholson (who formed the group alongside guitarist Fred Browning) focused on his work as tour promoter for British acts performing in Eastern Europe. Only with the 1993 arrival of Colorado-born vocalist Karen Sheridan did R.O.C.
