Biography
Up-and-coming Tejano singer Roel Martinez hails from Laredo, TX. In 1993, noted Tejano producer Manny Guerra signed Roel to Manny Music. That year he released his debut album, Juntos, throughout WEA Latina. He has played in nightclubs throughout Texas and has opened for several major Tejano bands including La Sombra, Mazz, and Emilio Navaira. Martinez started out working with Shelly Lares and in 1992, decided to embark upon a solo career. ~ Sandra Brennan
