Roger Boutry

Boutry studied at the Paris Conservatoire with Boulanger and later taught harmony there. He won the Prix de Rome in 1954 for his cantata On ne badine pas avec l'amour. Influenced by Debussy and Ravel, Boutry's music is known for its expressive melodies. ~ Lynn Vought
