A stalwart American hard rock/heavy metal vocalist and guitar player, Ron Keel made a name for himself in the early 1980s fronting Nashville-born, Los Angeles-based pop-metallers Steeler. After the group's demise in 1983, Keel struck out on his own and formed Keel, who found success in 1985 with the anthem "Right to Rock," from the album of the same name.
