Rose Brennan

This popular Irish band singer joined Joe Loss, the leader of one of Britain's most enduring dance bands, for a trial period of two weeks, and stayed for 15 years during the 40s and 50s. One of the many who benefited from Loss' policy of generously featuring his vocalists, Brennan was voted the Top Girl Singer in the New Musical Express annual poll.
