Roy Scott

b. April c.1925, USA. Known as Ramblin' Roy Scott, from 1946 to the late 70s he was a featured artist on WWVA's Wheeling Jamboree in West Virginia. Included in Scott's repertoire was a lively version of ‘Orange Blossom Special'. His three daughters, Jan, Lauren (aka Lori) and Lois, all worked with their father. In the 70s, Lois Scott, who had first gone on stage with her father when she was aged eight, formed Back Up And Push and became very popular on the country music circuit.
