Biography
A Nashville-based indie rock project led by singer/songwriter Alec Koukol, Safari Room combines glowing melodies with an atmospheric guitar-driven sound and introspective lyrics. They have released two full-length albums, Look Me Up When You Get There (2020) and Complex House Plants (2022).
Hailing from Omaha, Nebraska, Koukol moved east to Nashville in the mid-2010s and began building Safari Room as a solo project aided by the city's wealth of diverse talent. A 2018 EP called Actual Feelings set the tone for 2020's Look Me Up When You Get There, his first album. Safari Room'...
