Perseverance and a distinctive way with light melodies pushed SahBabii out of the Atlanta rap underground. His dreamy brand of melodic trap stands out due to his truly bizarre lyrics, which are often preoccupied with sex and/or animals, particularly sea creatures. He broke through with "Pull Up with Ah Stick," a track from his 2016 mixtape S.A.N.D.A.S., and continued to refine his surreal sound on further releases such as 2020's Barnacles and 2021's Do It for Demon.
