British singer/songwriter Sam Johnson first made waves in 2018 with the release of his debut single "Perfect Circle," a blend of idiosyncratic songwriting and nuanced playing, before issuing the 2019's Eastcote and 2021's Are We There Yet? EPs.
Born and raised near Oswestry, Shropshire on the Welsh border, Johnson looked to classic songwriters such as Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell for inspiration while writing about his experiences growing up in the countryside.
