Sandbox Percussion

The Sandbox Percussion ensemble advocates for the music of 21st century composers. The group has commissioned a substantial number of new compositions and works to mentor younger composers through performance and educational efforts. Sandbox Percussion was formed in 2011 by a group of percussionists who enjoyed playing chamber music together. All four of its founding members are still with the group as of the mid-2020s.
