Saul Williams is a revolutionary poet, an award-winning screenwriter/actor, a prolific writer, and a musician dissolving borders between numerous genres. He first established himself as an influential slam poet during the mid-'90s, and gained attention for playing the lead role in the 1998 film Slam, as he launched his music career.
