Biography
German techno producers Rene Löwe and Peter Kuschnereit collaborated as Scion in 1995 for the Emerge 12", the inaugural release by the Berlin-based Chain Reaction label. The two then went their seperate ways -- Löwe recording as Vainqueur, Kuschnereit as Substance, both for Chain Reaction -- though they occasionally performed live together, such as at the 2000 Detroit Electronic Music Festival, where they performed alongside reggae vocalist Tikiman.
