Proudly representing Atlanta, Georgia, rapper Scotty ATL began making music as a teenager when a friend of his joined the Navy and indefinitely loaned young Scotty (real name Walter Scott Williams) his recording equipment. Building off that D.I.Y. beginning, Williams started his own label, Cool Club, and began selling CDs of his music at school.
