Featuring a jangling, nervously hooky sound, Season 2 is an Australian band made up of members of quite a few groups who at one time or another made a splash on the underground scene. their 2026 record Power of Now is a bracing mix of Flying Nun-style melodicism and post-punk angst. The band got together in Melbourne near the end of 2024, then spent most of 2025 working on writing songs and it didn't take long to settle on a nervy, jangling guitar pop sound since most of them had been in bands with a similar sound in the past.
