Biography
Born on July 21, 1994, in Wipperfürth, Germany, singer Sebastian Wurth was a contestant in the eighth season of the casting show Deutschland Sucht den Superstar. The son of a jazz musician, Wurth sometimes performed with his father's big band before taking part in the casting show in 2011, where he made fifth place. His first single, "Hard to Love You," was released the same year, reaching number 18 on the German singles charts. Wurth's debut album, Strong, was released in 2012, but only managed to chart at number 34 in Germany and number 50 in Austria. ~ Christian Genzel
