A mostly instrumental surf/lounge/film/bossa nova/pop/swing/rock combo from Allston, MA, Seks Bomba is somewhere between the frantic genre hopping of Brave Combo and the tongue-in-cheek kitsch of their fellow New Englanders Combustible Edison. The group formed in 1996, naming themselves after the only phrase guitarist George Hall could recognize in a Czech magazine he was perusing.
