Sometimes regarded as a successor to Maurice André, trumpeter Sergei Nakariakov has been making recordings since his teenage years. He has often played concertos transcribed for the trumpet from originals for other instruments.
Nakariakov was born on May 10, 1977, in Gorky (now Nizhny Novgorod) in central Russia, then part of the Soviet Union.
