Clarinetist Seunghee Lee has become popular in both Asia and the U.S., offering recordings featuring adventurous, unusual programming. Lee is also a musical entrepreneur, a lecturer, and a competitive golfer.
Lee was born in Seoul. When she was nine, her parents immigrated to the U.S., where she grew up in a Chicago suburb. Lee attended the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, studying with Charles Neidich and receiving a bachelor's degree.
