Rachel Taylor has had quite the journey. She was the voice of indie pop duo He Is We with Trevor Kelly before a controversial split in 2012. That year, Taylor developed health complications which were later diagnosed as ankylosing spondylitis (a chronic inflammatory disease of the axial skeleton, which is made up of the skull, spine, ribs, and sternum) and had to leave the band's tour.
