SHHE

Scotland-based artist Su Shaw, known as SHHE, creates art-pop and ambient music which explores themes including space, sound, and ecology. Her first album, 2019's SHHE, focused on sparse, atmospheric songs which questioned identity. Following her debut, Shaw has written ambient works inspired by bodies of water, including 2024's DÝRA and 2026's THALASSA. Based in Dundee, Scotland, Su Shaw released her first single as SHHE, "Eyes Shut"/"Boy," in early 2019, as she opened for Kathryn Joseph on her U.K. tour.
