Off-center soul and post-disco revivalists Silk Rhodes features vocalist Sasha Desree and producer Michael Collins. The duo is from Baltimore, Maryland. Their first recorded appearance was on Our Vinyl Weighs a Ton, a compilation released to coincide with the 2014 Stones Throw label documentary of the same title.
