Simon Wallfisch is a British cellist and baritone vocalist known for his work in opera and for his recordings with pianist Edward Rushton. Also an activist against anti-Semitism, he performs works by composers whose careers were damaged by Nazis, and he is a trustee of the International Centre for Suppressed Music. He was born in London in 1982 to a musical family. His father, Raphael, is a cellist his mother, Elizabeth, is a violinist, and his grandparents and two siblings are also musicians.
