Austin, Texas-based noise-pop band Sixteen Deluxe formed in mid-1994 from the ashes of the local acts Swingset and Warm Jets; originally comprising singers/guitarists Carrie Clark and Chris Smith, bassist Jeff Copas, and drummer Lyman Hardy.
