SLW cc Watt is a collaborative project between two idiosyncratic artists with a D.I.Y. philosophy, Samuel Locke Ward and Mike Watt, who collaborated to create pop music with a fractured, lo-fi approach and a punky spirit of adventure. Ward and Watt record together virtually, passing tracks back and forth online, with Ward penning his tuneful, playfully eccentric tunes and sending his basic tracks to Watt, who added his trademark rubbery basslines and occasional vocal spiels while other collaborators occasionally tossed in their own contributions.
