For 30 very active years, German group Söhne Mannheims have forged a sound of their own that mixes elements of soul, reggae, pop, and more, with an emphasis on polyphonic vocal arrangements. After more than two decades under the leadership of co-founder Xavier Naidoo, he left the band in 2017, and Söhne Mannheims regrouped in a new formation with the electronically guided soul-pop sound of their 2023 album Kompass.
