SomethingALaMode

Formed by two students who studied classical music at the Conservatory of Dijon, SomethingALaMode -- or SALM -- turned to electro and techno after writing orchestral arrangements for Detroit DJ Jeff Mills. Featuring Thomas Roussel (violin, electronics) and Yannick Grandjean (cello, electronics), SomethingALaMode was born in 2006 when the duo were working for Mills, orchestrating his concert at the Pont du Gard.
