Sonja Gornik

Soprano Sonja Gornik has made significant impacts in both Wagnerian and Italian opera. She took a maternity leave in the middle of her career, after which she returned in new Wagner roles. Gornik has made several recordings of unusual repertory in the 2020s. In 2024, she appeared on the album Golden Horizon, featuring works for horn and orchestra by Richard Strauss.
