The Space Raiders debuted with a few EPs on the U.K.-based Skint label with their kooky style of big beat before making the jump to full-length albums and an unsuccessful attempt to cross over to the States. A band rather than a sole producer -- Mark Hornby, Gary Bradford, and Martin Jenkins -- the Space Raiders arrived a bit too late to cash in on the late '90s big beat boom led by Fatboy Slim and the Chemical Brothers.
