Steeltower

German heavy metal band Steeltower were formed in 1982 by vocalist Thomas Rettke, guitarists Ingo Millek and Bernd Kaufholz, bassist Manni Jordan, and drummer Thorsten Mueller, but they experienced little success over the next five years, releasing just one album in 1984's Night of the Dog before falling apart and giving birth to a more successful power metal outfit called Heaven's Gate. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
