Strange U are a futuristic sci-fi hip-hop duo from London, consisting of MC Kashmere and beatsmith Dr. Zygote (aka left-field house producer the Maghreban), both veterans of the British rap scene. In stark contrast to both the mumble rap popular during the 2010s as well as the grime scene normally associated with London, Strange U's playfully sinister brand of hip-hop is much closer to underground eccentrics like Kool Keith and Company Flow.
