Subject 13

David Stewart and Roy Bleau formed Subject 13 by blending their main influences, specifically the mellower side of jazz and rough-and-tumble drum'n'bass. The duo grew up in London's Hackney and had played football together since they were teenagers. Stewart dropped out of college to begin DJing (mostly hip-hop and soul), and by 1990 was producing hardcore tracks as Eternity. He later reunited with Bleau, and the pair recorded singles for Fabio's Creative Source Records, Basement and L.T.J Bukem's Good Looking.
