Success-n-Effect

Based in Atlanta, Success-n-Effect were one of the many rap combos that started in the late '80s/early '90s in reaction to hip-hop's growing acceptance. Original members DJ Len and Professor Lazy Rock were considered core members of the group, which also featured a number of other area rappers. Success-n-Effect issued three albums, In the Hood (1989), Back-n-Effect (1991), and Drive-by of Uh Revolutionist (1993) before disbanding in the mid-'90s. ~ Bradley Torreano
