The forward-thinking electronic outfit Sunkings has moved from recording intelligent techno for GPR to psychedelic trance for Blue Room Released, a leap made by few in either scenes. The group began in 1990, as the trio of Jay Paine, Paul Davies and Michael Bluemink. After the release of several singles on a self-financed label gained the attention of 808 State, Sunkings recorded the Return of the Killer Rays EP for 808's own Creed Records.
