A South Korean jazz drummer and composer based in Amsterdam, Sun-Mi Hong is a lauded performer known for her sophisticated, classical-influenced post-bop. Along with winning the 2018 SENA Dutch Jazz Competition, Hong has showcased her quintet on albums like 2020's A Self-Strewn Portrait, 2023's Third Page: Resonance, and 2025's Fourth Page: Meaning of a Nest.
