Sunhae Im

The repertory of soprano Sunhae Im focuses on early music, and she has worked with leading conductors in the field, including Philippe Herreweghe, René Jacobs, and Ton Koopman. Her recordings, however, are a varied lot that includes music as far forward in time as Liszt and Mahler, as well as American popular song. Im was born in Cheorwon-gun, South Korea, on the North Korean border, on January 15, 1976.
